Definition

イベントや授業、会議などに行って出席すること。また、人や問題に注意を払ったり、世話をする場合にも使う。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

通常は「授業に出席する」「会議に出席する」のように使う。よりフォーマルな場面では「care」や「deal with」の意味で 'attend to' を使う。'join'（グループに参加）は異なるので注意。
