相手と感情的に言い合う、または自分の意見が正しいと理由を示して主張すること。けんかや論理的な説明どちらにも使われる。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

'argue with'は人、『argue about/over』は話題に使われます。「argue that...」は論理的に主張するときに使い、喧嘩ではありません。「discuss」とは異なり、やや感情的なニュアンスがあります。
