ভবিষ্যতে কিছু ঘটবে বলে উত্তেজনা বা উদ্বেগ অনুভব করা; অথবা কিছু প্রত্যাশা করার কাজ।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

'Anticipation' বেশিরভাগ সময় আনুষ্ঠানিক এবং ভবিষ্যতের ইভেন্টের আগের উত্তেজনা বা উদ্বেগ বোঝাতে ব্যবহৃত হয়। এটি 'in anticipation of', 'filled with anticipation' প্রভৃতি বাক্যে চলে। 'Expectation'-এর (অধিক নিরপেক্ষ) সঙ্গে গুলিয়ে ফেলবেন না।
