কোনো কিছু যখন দুইটি বিকল্পের সম্ভাবনা একদম সমান বা ফলাফল একেবারে অনিশ্চিত, তখন এই শব্দটি ব্যবহৃত হয়।
Usage Notes (Bengali)
'সম্ভাবনা সমান' বা 'ফিফটি-ফিফটি' বলার সময়, সিদ্ধান্ত বা ফলাফল নিশ্চিত না হলে ব্যবহার হয়। 'It's a toss up between...' বলতে পারেন দুই সমান বিকল্পের সামনে।
