Definition

자신이나 물건을 짧은 거리만 살짝 움직이거나 옮기는 것. 주로 비공식적이고 친근한 상황에서 사용함.

아주 비격식적이고 장난스럽게 주로 사용한다. 'scooch over'처럼 같이 쓰임. 비슷한 표현인 'scoot'과 의미가 조금 다르니 주의.

Can you scooch a little to the left?

조금만 왼쪽으로 **조금 움직여** 줄래?

The chair is blocking the door, can you scooch it over?
