Definition

কোনো ফসল যখন পাকা হয় তখন তা মাঠ থেকে কেটে সংগ্রহ করা হয়; আবার, কোনো কিছুর ফল বা পরিণাম পাওয়াকেও বোঝাতে ব্যবহৃত হয়।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

'reaping' কৃষিতে ফসল কাটা বোঝাতে সরাসরি ব্যবহার হয়, আবার 'reaping the benefits' বা 'reaping what you sow'-এর মতো বাক্যে প্রতীকীভাবে ফলাফল বা প্রতিদান পাওয়ার অর্থে ব্যবহৃত হয়।
