"hightails" in Bengali
Definition
যখন কেউ ভয় পেয়ে বা দেরি না করে কোনো জায়গা দ্রুত ছেড়ে চলে যায়।
Usage Notes (Bengali)
অফিশিয়াল কথাবার্তায় ব্যবহার হয় না। বেশিরভাগ সময় কথ্য বা মজার পরিস্থিতিতে ব্যবহৃত হয়। উদাহরণ যেমন 'high tail করা' মানে দ্রুত পালানো।

সে কোনো মাকড়সা দেখলেই ঘর থেকে **দৌড়ে পালায়**।
They hightail home before it starts raining.
বৃষ্টি শুরু হওয়ার আগে তারা **তড়িঘড়ি করে** বাড়ি চলে যায়।
The dog hightails it down the street when it hears thunder.
কুকুরটা বজ্রধ্বনি শুনলে রাস্তা দিয়ে **দৌড়ে পালায়**।
As soon as the bell rings, everyone hightails it out of the classroom.
ঘণ্টা বাজতেই সবাই ক্লাসরুম থেকে **তড়িঘড়ি করে বের হয়ে যায়**।
