Something that is lifelike looks very real, almost like the real person, animal, or thing it represents.
Usage & Nuances
Usually used for art, models, or images that seem very realistic. Common with 'statue', 'painting', 'model', and 'robot'. Not used for living things. Slightly formal; in conversation 'looks real' is often used.
