Definition

'Smears' বলতে এমন দাগ বোঝায় যা কিছু মেখে তৈরি হয়, অথবা মিথ্যা বা অবমাননাকর কথা যা কারো সুনাম নষ্ট করে।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

'Smears' শব্দটি দাগ বা লেপ, এবং অপবাদ দুইভাবেই ব্যবহার হয়। 'lipstick smears', 'smear campaign', 'allegations' ইত্যাদির সাথে আসে। 'Smiles' বা verb 'smear' এর সঙ্গে গুলিয়ে ফেলো না।
