Definition

把某事视为生活中最重要的部分或主要的快乐来源。用于形容某人对某项活动、某人或某事充满热情。

非正式表达，后面常接名词或动名词：如“live for 音乐”，“live for 旅行”。表达强烈的情感依恋。不要和“live off”（靠…为生）混淆。

I live for chocolate ice cream.
