비누가 묻었거나 비누처럼 미끄럽고 거품이 나는 상태를 말함.

주로 손, 바닥, 물 등에 비누가 묻어 있을 때 사용한다. 'soapy drama'처럼 비유적으로는 거의 쓰이지 않는다.
