從一組中選擇或指出某人或某物，給予特別關注或對待，可以是積極的也可以是消極的。

Usage Notes (Chinese (Traditional))

常用於某人或某物因接受與眾不同的待遇。根據語境既可為正面（表揚）也可為負面（批評）。常與“for”搭配，如“single out for praise”。比單純的 'choose' 稍正式。
