Definition

একটি খুব ছোট, কম গুরুত্বের, অথবা দূরবর্তী গ্রাম বা শহর, সাধারণত মজা করে বা অবজ্ঞাসূচকভাবে বলা হয়।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

প্রচণ্ড অপ্রচলিত ও আমেরিকান ইংরেজি কথাবার্তার মধ্যে ব্যবহার হয়। কারো ছোট শহর থেকে আসাকে খাটো বা হাস্যকরভাবে দেখাতে ব্যবহৃত; গুরুত্বহীন-অর্থে ব্যবহার হলে অবজ্ঞার ছোঁয়া থাকে।
