পুরোপুরি স্থির থাকা, কোনোভাবেই নড়াচড়া না করা, সাধারণত ভয়, বিস্ময় কিংবা কারো আদেশে।

শব্দটি গল্প বা কথা বলার সময় বেশি ব্যবহৃত হয়, বিশেষ করে ভয় অথবা আজ্ঞাপালনে পুরোপুরি স্থির থাকার বর্ণনায়। আনুষ্ঠানিক ব্যবহার নয়।
