Definition

특정 장소나 사람 근처를 맴돌거나, 어떤 수치가 크게 변하지 않고 비슷한 수준에 머무르는 것.

가격, 온도, 사람이 주변에서 맴돌 때, 혹은 수치가 거의 변하지 않을 때 자주 쓰임. 실제 '날다'는 뜻이 아님.

The temperature will hover around 20 degrees today.

오늘 기온은 **20도 근처에서 맴돌 것입니다**.
