Definition

動物や人の集団をまとめて、目的地に誘導すること。特に羊や牛などの家畜に使われるが、人にも使われる。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

家畜に対してよく使われますが、人に使うときは制御的やや悪いニュアンスもあります。「herded into」「herded together」の形でよく見られます。
