Definition

एक कपड़ा या तिरपाल जो खिड़की, दरवाजे या बरामदे के ऊपर लगाया जाता है ताकि धूप या बारिश से बचा जा सके।

Usage Notes (Hindi)

छज्जा आमतौर पर अस्थायी या खींचे जा सकने वाले कपड़े या तिरपाल का होता है। यह ठोस स्थायी छत के लिए प्रयोग नहीं होता। 'सीढ़ी के ऊपर छज्जा', 'दुकान का छज्जा' आम प्रयोग हैं।
