कोड़े या इसी तरह की वस्तु से मारने का कार्य, या (जैसे क्रीम) को तेज़ी से फेंटने की क्रिया ताकि उसमें हवा भर जाए।
Usage Notes (Hindi)
'Whipping' शब्द खाना बनाते समय ('whipping cream' के लिए) और दंड या हार के अर्थ में भी प्रयोग होता है। 'whipping cream' कुकिंग में ख़ास है।
