뱀파이어는 이야기나 영화에 나오는 밤에 피를 마시는 상상의 존재입니다. 때로는 남의 에너지나 시간을 소모시키는 사람을 비유적으로 표현할 때도 씁니다.

Usage Notes (Korean)

대체로 상상 속 존재를 뜻하고, 'vampire movie', 'vampire bat', 'energy vampire' 같은 표현이 자주 쓰입니다. 'vampire bat'은 실제 박쥐를 말하지만, 그냥 '뱀파이어'라고 하면 거의 항상 신화의 존재를 의미합니다.
