Güneş battıktan hemen sonra veya doğmadan önce gökyüzündeki hafif ve soluk ışıktır. Aynı zamanda bir şeyin son evresini ifade etmek için de kullanılır.

'황혼' edebi ve şiirsel bir kelimedir; 'akşam' veya 'gün batımı'ndan farklıdır. Mecaz anlamda bitiş dönemleri için kullanılır ('the twilight of his career'). Özellikle edebiyatta, hikaye ve şiirlerde yer alır.
