受託者とは、財産やお金、責任を他の人のために管理する任命された人や団体です。彼らは受益者の利益のために行動する法的義務があります。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

主に法律、金融、非営利団体の文脈で使われる言葉です。「board of trustees（理事会）」などの表現がよく使われます。受益者（beneficiaries）とは別の立場です。
