Pasado de 'transport.' Significa llevar o mover algo o alguien de un lugar a otro. En sentido figurado, puede significar ser llevado emocionalmente a un estado mental diferente.

A menudo se usa en voz pasiva: 'The goods were transported by truck.' El uso figurado ('The music transported me back to my childhood') es literario pero común. No confundir con 'deported' (expulsión forzada de un país).
