アメリカンフットボールで、攻撃側が相手エンドゾーンにボールを運んで得点すること。また、飛行機が着陸して車輪が地面に接する瞬間も指す。

「タッチダウン」は主にアメフトの用語で、サッカーの「ゴール」とは異なる。航空用語としては「着陸」のタイミングに限定される。
