تستخدم 'touch' في المعنى الحرفي والمجازي: 'don't touch' (لا تلمس)، 'a touch of salt' (قليل من الملح)، 'stay in touch' (ابق على تواصل). تُستخدم رسميًا وغير رسميًا. لا تخلطها مع 'feel' (يشعر).
