'Tarp' 'tarpaulin' का छोटा रूप है। आमतौर पर कैंपिंग, निर्माण या बाहर इस्तेमाल होता है। 'plastic tarp', 'put up a tarp', 'cover with a tarp' जैसे फ्रेज़ सामान्य हैं। इसे 'tent' (सोने के लिए टेंट) से न मिलाएँ।
