複数のものやデータを同じタイミングに合わせたり、デバイス同士で情報を一致させること。テクノロジー用語の「シンク」は「同期」の略です。

『sync』はIT分野や日常会話で使われる。名詞では『in sync』（一致している）で使い、動詞では『同期する』の略。『sink』（沈む）と混同しないよう注意。
