Definition

কিছুর বাইরের বা উপরের স্তরকে বোঝায়। ক্রিয়া অর্থে, কিছু গোপন বা লুকানো ছিল এমন কিছু হঠাৎ দেখা দিলে বোঝাতে ব্যবহৃত হয়।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

'the surface of the water' বা 'a smooth surface' বলতে কোন কিছুর উপরিভাগ বোঝান হয়। ক্রিয়া হিসেবে 'surface' সাধারণত আনুষ্ঠানিক বা সংবাদে ব্যবহৃত হয়, যেমন 'নতুন তথ্য surfaced'। 'on the surface' মানে অবয়বে কোন কিছু দেখা গেলেও, ভেতরে তা ভিন্ন হতে পারে।
