누군가나 무언가가 계속하거나 성공하거나 힘을 내도록 돕는 것. 신체적으로 지지하거나 아이디어, 사람, 행동 등을 응원하고 동의하는 의미도 있다.

Usage Notes (Korean)

명사와 동사 모두 매우 자주 쓰임. 'support someone', 'support a team', 'support a decision', 'financial support', 'technical support' 같은 표현에 자주 사용. 'Help'보다 지속적이고 구조적, 또는 승인·응원의 의미가 더 강하다.
