Usage Notes (Turkish)
'stood', 'stand'in geçmiş zamanıdır: 'She stood by the door.' Pozisyon ('stood in the corner'), eylem ('stood up') ve mecaz destek ('stood by me') için kullanılır. Süreklilik vurgusunda 'was standing' tercih edilir.
