Definition

'Stood' হল 'stand' ক্রিয়ার অতীতকাল, যার মানে কারও বা কিছু এক জায়গায় সোজা হয়ে দাঁড়িয়ে থাকা।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

'stood' ব্যবহার করে অতীত সময় বোঝাতে হয়, যেমন 'She stood by the door.' অবস্থান ('stood in the corner'), কাজ ('stood up'), বা সমর্থন ('stood by me') বোঝাতে পারে। 'was standing' তখনই ব্যবহার করুন যখন ক্রিয়াটি দীর্ঘস্থায়ী ছিল বুঝাতে হবে।
