怒ったり興奮したりしたときに、足を強く踏みつけて大きな音を立てる動作。

力強く音を立てるニュアンスが強い。感情を表現する動きに使う。「stomp out」は火を踏み消す、「stomp off」は怒って立ち去る意味になる。
