يُستخدم عادةً في الجرائم أو السلوك غير الأمين، مثل 'Someone stole my bike'. من التراكيب الشائعة: 'stole from someone' و 'stole something from somewhere'. لا تخلطه مع الاسم 'stole' الذي قد يعني أيضًا وشاحًا رسميًا يشبه الشال.
