自発的とは、計画や強制がなく、自然に突然起こることを指します。また、自由に行動する人や行為にも使います。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

計画性のない行動や人に使います。「spontaneous decision」＝「その場の決断」、「spontaneous laughter」＝「自然な笑い」など。多くは良い意味で使います。
