'Slightest' هي صيغة التفضيل من 'slight' وتعني أصغر مقدار أو أضعف درجة ممكنة من شيء ما. تُستعمل غالبًا في الجمل المنفية أو مع كلمات مثل 'any' للتأكيد على أن حتى أقل قدر له أهمية.

تظهر كثيرًا في تراكيب ثابتة مثل 'not the slightest' و 'the slightest idea' و 'the slightest bit' و 'at the slightest sound'. وغالبًا تضيف معنى التأكيد أكثر من كونها مقارنة حرفية. من الأخطاء الشائعة قول 'the most slight'، لكن الصيغة الطبيعية هي 'slightest'.
