“shorted” in Japanese
Definition
主に金融では、資産の価格が下がることを期待して売ること。電子回路では、ショート（短絡）が起きた状態を指します。
Usage Notes (Japanese)
ビジネスや技術分野で使う専門用語です。「shorted a stock」は株を空売りした場合、「the wire shorted」は配線がショートした場合に使います。「短い」という意味では使いません。
