अर्थ, उद्देश्य या कारण से रहित; व्यर्थ। बेहोश का अर्थ भी हो सकता है, जैसे मूर्छित या अनुत्तरदायी।

Usage Notes (Hindi)

दो अलग-अलग अर्थ: (1) निरर्थक/बेमतलब ('senseless violence', 'senseless waste') और (2) बेहोश ('beaten senseless', 'knocked senseless')। पहले अर्थ में मज़बूत अस्वीकृति है।
