누군가를 무섭게 하거나 두렵게 만드는 것. 일반적으로 'scare'의 현재 진행형으로 사용됨.

Usage Notes (Korean)

주로 'is scaring me', 'stop scaring the dog'와 같이 사용된다. 형용사로는 'scary'가 더 자연스럽고, 'scaring thought'는 드물다. 'scaring'(겁주기)과 'scared'(겁먹음)을 혼동하지 말 것.
