Çuval, dayanıklı malzemeden yapılmış büyük bir torbadır ve taşıma ya da depolama için kullanılır. Britanya İngilizcesinde gayrı resmi olarak 'the sack' işten kovulmak anlamına da gelir.
Usage Notes (Turkish)
‘a sack of potatoes’ (bir çuval patates) gibi kalıplarda kullanılır. ‘sleeping sack’ yerine ‘sleeping bag’ denir. ‘get the sack’ ifadesi sadece gayri resmi İngiliz İngilizcesinde işten atılmayı belirtir.
