Definition

মজবুত ও মোটা দড়ি, যা বিভিন্ন তন্তু বা উপাদান ঘুরিয়ে তৈরি করা হয়। এগুলো বাঁধা, টানা, ওঠা বা কিছু ধরে রাখার জন্য ব্যবহৃত হয়।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

'Ropes' মানে একাধিক মোটা দড়ি। 'Jump rope', 'climbing rope', 'tie with ropes' ইত্যাদি বাক্যে ব্যবহার হয়। 'Learn the ropes' মানে কাজ শেখা। পাতলা 'string' বা 'thread' এর সাথে গুলিয়ে ফেলবেন না।
