“regrets” in Spanish
Definition
Sentimientos de tristeza o decepción por algo que hiciste, no hiciste o que pasó en el pasado. También puede usarse en expresiones formales de pesar, pero como sustantivo plural normalmente se refiere a cosas del pasado que ojalá hubieran sido diferentes.
Usage Notes (Spanish)
Se usa mucho en expresiones como 'have regrets', 'live with regrets' y 'no regrets'. 'Regret' también puede ser verbo ('I regret saying that'), pero aquí el sustantivo plural se centra en las emociones que dejan las decisiones pasadas. 'Regrets' suele sonar más profundo y personal que 'mistakes'.
