Definition

কাউকে বা কিছুকে নির্দিষ্টভাবে, বিশেষত সম্মান বা মূল্য দিয়ে, দেখার বা মনে করার অর্থ। অন্যরা কেমনভাবে দেখে বা মূল্যায়ন করে তা বোঝাতে ব্যবহৃত হয়।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

'Regarded' সাধারণত passive form-এ ('is regarded as') ব্যবহৃত হয় এবং কারো সুনাম, মর্যাদা বা কিভাবে দেখা হচ্ছে তা প্রকাশ করে। 'Highly regarded', 'widely regarded', 'generally regarded'— এসব collocation লেখায় বেশি দেখা যায়, দৈনন্দিন কথোপকথনে কম।
