誰かや何かを、元の計画とは違う場所や方向、目的へ送ること。ウェブサイトやメール、電話などでよく使われます。

IT分野（ウェブサイトやメール）、カスタマーサービス、交通案内などでよく使う言葉です。「redirect someone to...」と使います。'forward'は経路を変えず送る場合に使うので、意味が異なります。
