확립된 권위, 정부 또는 규범에 대해 조직적으로 저항하거나 거부하는 행동. 무장 봉기에서 개인적인 반항까지 다양하게 쓰인다.
Usage Notes (Korean)
‘revolution’보다 작은 규모로 쓰임. ‘armed rebellion’, ‘teenage rebellion’, ‘반란을 진압하다’ 등과 같이 자주 쓰임. 긍정적 또는 부정적으로 쓰일 수 있음. ‘rebellious’는 형용사.
