প্রসিকিউটর হলেন এমন একজন আইনজীবী যিনি আদালতে অপরাধীর বিরুদ্ধে মামলা করেন এবং সরকার অথবা রাষ্ট্রের পক্ষে কাজ করেন।
Usage Notes (Bengali)
সাধারণত আইনগত প্রসঙ্গে ব্যবহৃত হয়। 'defense lawyer' বা 'defense attorney'-এর বিপরীতে আসে। মার্কিন যুক্তরাষ্ট্রে 'district attorney' এক ধরনের প্রসিকিউটর; বিভিন্ন দেশে নাম ও ভূমিকা ভিন্ন হতে পারে।
