Definition

কোনো কিছুর মোট অংশের মধ্যে নির্দিষ্ট পরিমাণ বা ভাগকেই বলা হয় অনুপাত। এটি দুই বা ততোধিক উপাদানের পরিমাণগত সম্পর্ক প্রকাশ করে।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

'অনুপাত' গণিত, চিত্রকলা ও নকশায় ব্যবহার হয়, যেমন 'in proportion to' অর্থ কিছু কিছুর তুলনায়, 'out of proportion' অস্বাভাবিক ভাগ বোঝায়। 'portion' (একটি নির্দিষ্ট অংশ) থেকে আলাদা।
