前奏曲は、より重要な出来事や本番の前に前置きとして起こるものです。音楽では、長い曲の冒頭に演奏される短い曲を指します。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

主に文学や音楽などフォーマルな文脈で使います。音楽ジャンル名としても、出来事の前触れとしても使われます。「preview」や「prologue」とは異なります。
