무엇인가를 반복해서 세게 치거나 부수는 것. 큰 소리나 심장이 크게 뛰는 느낌에도 사용됨.

Usage Notes (Korean)

'pounded garlic'는 마늘을 빻는 행동, 'pounded on the door'는 문을 세게 두드리는 것. 큰 소리나 심장이 뛸 때도 쓴다. 'ground'와 혼동하지 않기.
