「perp」は「perpetrator（犯人）」の略で、犯罪を犯した人や容疑者を指すカジュアルな言葉。警察や刑事ドラマでよく使われます。

とてもカジュアルで主に警察や刑事ドラマで使われる表現。「the perp」や「perpを捕まえた」などの形が多い。軽い違反には使わず、重大な犯罪についてのみ使う。
