「平行」とは、二本以上の線が同じ方向に進んで決して交わらないことを指します。また、二つの物事がよく似ている場合にも使われます。

「平行」は数学や幾何学でよく使われます。「平行線」は決して交わりません。「類似」は共通点や類推に使います。「垂直」と間違えないようにしましょう。
