무엇인가가 통과할 수 있는 틈이나 구멍을 의미함. 또한 행사, 책, 공연의 시작 부분이나 일자리의 공석을 뜻하기도 함.

Usage Notes (Korean)

상황에 따라 다양한 의미를 가짐. 'an opening in the wall'은 벽의 틈, 'the opening of the ceremony'는 개막, 'job opening'은 공석. 영화나 책에서는 첫 부분을 의미.
